This season of peacemaker is absolutely not required even if it helps set up man of tomorrow. You think they can’t give a short intro at the beginning of the movie? Saying it’s required viewing before the script is even finalized is crazy.

I mean this can still be explained just by having Rick Flag say Luther worked out a deal with us during the beginning at some point in the movie lol. Takes like one scene if that.

Obviously they could include a little blurb at the beginning of a movie for background context, no s*** lmao

But so far Creature Commandos has directly tied into Superman which directly set up Supergirl and tied into Peacemaker Season 2 which is directly setting up Man of Tomorrow and also a spinoff show

Anyone still saying that the DCU is trying to tell small self-contained stories that don’t set up the next project is absolutely lying to themselves

I say this as someone who prefers that style for a cinematic universe so I’m not s***ting on it, I just don’t get why some are in denial about it
