dont worry puff once the paramount deal is decided we will get more news and then we can support zionist overlords who will affect creative freedom. Then hear excuses for why Gunn was unable to create his creative vision. If that sounds familiar when Snyder dealt with the death of his daughter and issues with creative freedom people absolutely hated on him for it. Where Gunn will get grace because he has balanced a level of fan service.

That was surely a diplomatic way to phrase it lol. He’s not signing up is what he said.

A lot of the merger arguments rely on this assumption Matt and Rob actively think about or care for this all, which just hasn’t held true at all. I don’t think Reeves has even ever voluntarily mentioned “DC Comics” in the entire time he’s been around. I’m not sure he even is a DC fan outside of Batman.

Let reeves and pattinson do their 3 movies get out

    especially if paramount merge

if paramount s*** goes through then in time some of us going to be good on future movies

  • A bit concerned with how this is all framed

Ellisons love swapping with their guys so Abdy and De Luca gone makes sense for numerous reasons.

“Inviting ___ to stay” still does not get at the contract renewal situation. Under what conditions does this “invite” come with? Hoping it’s not one of those things where it’s clearly a bad situation designed for them to eventually exit on their own.

I kinda get why people are seeing it that way, but “invited to stay” is such a loaded phrase.

This is all different than Casey Bloys’ situation, who actually seemingly got a promotion being head of both HBO Max and Paramount+ now. A Paramount+ exec left in this case for the WB guy to take over.

Like is this invite on the same terms? Is it only because Gunn is actively tied to WB/DCs only 2027 film release? Do they throw full weight behind them as we hope?
