Personality wise do you see him as the Batman though ? I just don’t see it

like Pattinson irl or his version of the character?

if you mean his version of the character then I'd say he can eventually grow out of that emo depressed woe is me s*** that I don't personally care for and become the Bruce he knows he needs to be to keep up appearances and all.

Both at this point to be honest ( Pattinson , his Batman and possibly his Bruce )

its actually interesting that with James being such a fan of the water / ocean that he actually never did an aquaman movie throughout all these years

meh he seemed pretty stoked to be batman while he was doing press for the movie. I think he'd be down, he's not the most open or charismatic guy irl but I don't think he needed to be that way during the Twilight movie press either so idk

oh s*** I mean I like him as the Batman for his universe but don't see him in a Justice League team up movie. Don't know if I was wording weird. Would definitely take some time but couldn't see his dry humor yet . Only movie i have seen him in though was him and catwoman so

oh okay yeah I feel you. I mean there's no rush to integrate him into the JL yet anyway imo. Need at least two Superman movies and a few other character films in order to begin that process I feel like. let there be some nice grounded build up into expanding branches that will eventually lead to JL team up movie.

this gives his Batman time to grow and evolve into the Batman we all see in the JLAS and the comics. Im not worried about him not being in a JL team up movie yet cause I think that can / will come with time,

im not opposed to a Crisis film to clean up timelines at the 'end' of the DCU, which could eventually lead to a Kingdom Come film way way later. I do need an eventual Darkseid invasion though at some point before all of this I think

edit: for the darkseid invasion, im referring to in the new DCU coming. I would really like to see Darkseid be a big bad

I kinda hope they don't define everything about this universe so early so we can have those openings if need be. If they're successful with their slate and gain a large fanbase, i don't think it'll be hard to convince Reeves and Pattinson down the line to collab. Same thing if DCEU was reliable when Reeves got hired.

But idk if its a safe bet rn to say he'll fold in over time. It needs to be a thriving universe that can excite them into agreeing.

yeah this is very true. I can definitely see Reeves having a clause like you mentioned. I guess its more wishful thinking from me because The Batman is already a critical and box office success so that being somewhat of a starting point for the new DCU would be really cool, but I definitely agree that everything else has to fall in line around it for them to merge eventually.

I wouldn't blame Reeves for wanting to see things play out at first

that would be fresh. just Flash running into the speed force and resetting things would be fitting from the coming flash movie
