I usually bike to work even when it's raining a bit. Biking is nice because I get some exercise in before I'm sitting on my ass all day.

I don't f*** with Big Coffee, so I count on my 20 minute bike ride to wake me up.

coffee is one of the few good things about work tho

its not too bad lol my drive is like 12 minutes

Yeah it's a lot better for you, regular bike. Once you get an e-bike you'll never go back tho. Jumped on a regular bike some time ago and I felt like I wasn't even going forward

apparently my team was working on a new product enhancement that's getting implemented in this release we have next week. I got an email from another team basically saying "hey, saw your team is working on ___, we would just need about a 30-45 day notice before go live". We go live in 5 days and no one told them (this falls on the PM, but since they got laid off they didn't say anything and now everyone is pointing to me for answers)

really struggling at finding ways to keep myself busy

gonna be mad as s*** if they even try to blame me

-Lost our Project manager so I had to take over leading deployment for a big ass release a few days before we even go live
-Lost our scrum master so I had to take over leading basically every meeting and arranging calendars
-Lost our lead developer so I can't get a clear answer from the other two dev's

• I got tasked with onboarding a new QA person
  -Got a new direct manager I report to who was just promoted and has never been a coach so she has no answers for most questions I have.
• As part of the "restructure" I got moved to a new product team, so I'm in all their meetings to learn the product/catch up while also having to create knowledge transfer stuff for my current team.

This has all only happened since Wednesday

just last week, I was waking up at 11am for our 15 min stand-up, would do maybe 30 min of work and sleep until 3pm.

Now I have nonstop meetings and have been getting teams chatted every 2 min

can't imagine ever working a 9-5 for a lifetime. even as a kid I felt the same

just got a rejected from a company I used to work for. Same title/role and they hit me with the auto-reply “we have chosen to move forward with candidates with experience that more closely match the listing”. B**** I worked that role for over a year and killed my performance reviews 😂😂😭
