soon as you get done with training, put your resume out there and see what you can get. you’d be surprised lol
my first job out of college sucked. started looking for a new job as soon as i could and got a dev job 5 months after i started there

Yeah that's the plan forsure. Needa rewrite my resume and start a lil portfolio first.
Actually got this job cause i used the right buzzwords. Applied for a reception/admin assistant pos to get office experience, and end up up as a jr full stack developer
i started an "office" job a few months ago. had been working retail since before i finished college and for like a year after. I work from home, get up at 8:55 am for 9am start. make breakfast, morning meeting at 10am then i take a shower. i dont have any tasks right now so im just vibing watching anime. we have to start going into office in september not looking forward to that at all working from home is the vibe.
When the work keeps piling up faster than you can push it out love the feeling of drowning

Why would he leave when he’s done training? Should stay at least for 6-8 months to a year

most of the time yeah that's the preferred length of time, some jobs though it's worth it to get in and get out ASAP. if i was offered a full-stack dev position making minimum wage, i'd take it but i'm putting my portfolio together and dipping as soon as i land something else
that said, it's probably only worth it to do this at positions like that, once you're past the lower paying entry level stuff i can see it definitely being preferable to build at least some amount of tenure at a position.

I mean with covid and everything, I’d stay for 6 months min then start looking. Jobs look at how long u stayed at ur previous work
