My job has been stressful as f*** lately. My only motivation is to stick it out for one more year so I can have five years in my profession with the versatility to do anything asked and add it to my resume. I’m trying to get tf out of here

all my besties quit its so damn lonely

One of my managers is a complete control freak like every manager is chill except her

Fking hate office politics

so my supervisor quit and instead of promoting me, they hired this new guy and damn he sucks at his job. they gonna melt down when they lose me next week

I don’t do anything at work

I get paid a decent amount compared to my peers in my city

I legit do about 1-2 hours of work a day and WFH

Insurance. Responsible for answering questions of clients and making changes to the contracts. You?

I work for a consultancy type company

Came on as a Software Tester

But there was a cloud migration project open when I joined so I was put on that as a “Junior DevOps Engineer” but atm I legit just have to copy and paste s*** into word docs to help them understand what the cloud is and how it works

same lol. except i SHOULD be paid more. that’s my only gripe

but it’s hard to complain…. i WFH and do maybe 2 hours of work a day most of the time. the remaining 6 hours i’m taking courses, personal coding projects, plying video games, or watching tv

if i got paid what i actually should be i would never leave lol

Oh yeah even I feel like Ill need to be making more in a year or two, but I just joined in November so I’m more than good for now
