This is what always stops me on all these fire D***ies customs

Price and the inevitable pilling...

never had pilling issues with the white painter d***ies. The normal 874s on the other hand start pilling incredibly fast

Actually this is exactly right... remember being shocked at how much I'd wear and wash my painters with no pilling but 873/874....

The painters are denim it won’t pill

I knew they felt different. Never even checked what material they are made of. is there an advantage to having a high polyester content blend vs pure cotton?

Personal preference imo; poly blend will probably last longer but won’t have the characteristics of a 100% cotton fabric.

After seeing what these “distressed carhartts” are going for I’m considering getting the blows out fixed on my work carhartts and selling them. I have the 5 f***ed up pairs laying around

Interestingly enough i got a pair of 872s in “Flex” fabric and never had issues with pilling just a little fading

Switched back to regular twill cotton for my next pair and they pilled so much/quick they refunded me

Got my carhartt sid pants back from The tailored usually I tell her to do a slim/skinny look this time it was more of a slim/straight cut gotta get use to them I think they look cool. It’s nice to have variety in pants size. But it sucks being short and have big waist and skinny legs
