I absolutely don’t think we should be thankful that our comforts come from a system of murder, rape, and exploitation
If your father handed you a toy knowing he got it by killing a kid and his family for it, would you not be thankful for it because of what it came from ? No, so why start with something with a few more degrees of separation?
