I’m not sure of the severity of your disability but depending on what it is, I wouldn’t expect you to have the same life experiences and milestones as somebody without a disability. That’s not to say that you won’t ever reach them, but you’re basically on a different timeline and you gotta come to terms with that.
I mean disability or not, we’re ALL on a different paths in life. Some people don’t find love until their 40s or 50s.
Maybe try to shift your focus to something else in your life (preferably positive) and just let life do its thing. It’s much easier to find love if you’re content with life as it is. just practice being receptive to love rather than actively thinking about how you haven’t found it yet.
There is somebody for everybody and your time will come. Til then, just try to focus your energy elsewhere or else you’ll drive yourself crazy
My disability isn't that severe, but it made making friends hard in high school and I didn't really make the effort to go out as much as I should have. Honestly though, this is really good advice thanks.

Generally I'm pretty quiet, shy, and it takes a lot for me to open up to people I talk to. I have a limited social life. For the past 6 years or so I've had this irrational worry that I won't ever experience love or a romantic relationship. For context, I'm currently 28, living with my parents and have a physical disability, so it hasn't been the easiest to put myself out there. Appreciate y'all.

ayyy i appreciate that broi was workin on sum for this thread but it felt like it kept coming off poorly so I binned it lmaooo
its hard to give advice when you don't rly got experience in the area yknow? like sure I got a lot of physical injuries and s*** but I'm nowhere near havin a disability, and plus I lucked into having an incredible relationship without much effort so its like....what do i say!
I was gonna say sum like u gotta keep slowly pushing your boundaries and staying real curious abt life and other ppl. fostering hobbies/interest that get u out in the world in some way that surrounds you with other ppl. but i dont rly have many like specific suggestions
i will say that love is worth it tho. its so worth it. im a romantic just like u bro and its so worth it

Appreciate that last part bro because I have my bitter moments in my head but I really appreciate that last part. Knowing that it's worth to make an effort because at the end of the day, I am responsible for making it happen in one way or another.

Oh I’m sure they can be a hinderance but heck yea brother you can still get out there.

Be willing to get rejected, but know that it's less about you and more about them
I know it's frowned upon, but Reddit does have nice specialized communities for nearly every topic, and I'm sure you can find people in similar situations are yourself to get advice from
