This doesn’t surprise me. He was great in Arrow, because the role was perfectly fit for a low energy, smooth-talking stone face with limited emotional capacity

But everything else I’ve seen him in has been questionable to downright bad, unfortunately. Seems like a nice guy in interviews, but he needs to be more selective with roles until he gets his range up a bit.

funny but ive never understood what 'bad acting' means. lots of instances of people being maybe over-the-top (lady from trolls 2 came to mind lol) or out of place (think keanu in dracula) but never have I wanted to say that someone is straight up bad. a lot of decisions maybe didnt make sense to me in the moment but you either understand it later or get used to it, like with Lynch movies and all the weird dialogue and that
