worked for this third-party communication company as an operator for a number of american phone/cable providers (e.g. Comcast, Verizon, Windstream, AT&T, etc.) and man did it it make me realize how f***ing racist Americans can be especially the elderly. I was taking 500-700 calls a day lmfao. It would range from emergency calls, 411 calls, collect calls to international calling. I lasted for 8 months tbh, I went off on customers for my last 2 months there which was mad entertaining lol. They'd be saying s*** about Mexicans for example and I'd just reply with s*** like "why you mad they f***ed your wife". It's so easy to get these boomers mad, f*** them bigots
Because that’s the closest thing to slavery in a 9-5 field. Well warehouse in general. That’s why I never took s*** serious and just f***ed around lol
copy imma see how the warehouses move and ghost if they bullshit. i’m in a pretty good school and have good grades so i feel like i’m straight if i ghost amazon lol
Macy's warehouse as a seasonal.
Good money since they're desperate but a con is the workplace environment suffers since the ceiling for employment is so f***ing low. There were a lot of dumbasses that caused trouble for everyone else.
One nigga stole my lunch out the breakroom fridge so I kept throwing away his ID if it was left around.
F*** that nigga Reggie.

Yea I ain’t put none of that s*** on my resume lol. I worked there my first semester in school
i worked an unpaid internship for jeff staple for a little while which sucked just on the basis of not being paid but really none of my jobs were particularly s***ty

Why the b****es who work there so bad too tho
They all lookin for their next d***, shoot your shot king
Journeys, the shoe store. The customers sucked, but they were nothing compared to the company itself. It was so trash.
I killed it as a sales associate so I advanced to an assistant management position. The money was pretty good during summer and back to school season. However, when winter rolled around and the mall died down, I ended up making less than minimum wage due to the pay structure for management.
I got a salary + commission. The salaried was minimum wage at 40hrs/wk. The issue was that I ended up working 90+ hour weeks, regularly. Upper management treated me like s***, and didn't stick to any kind of availability agreement.
I stuck around for awhile because they found out I was from Alaska and we're talking about moving me up there and giving me a store. This sounded awesome to me because I was becoming disillusioned with living in the city and wanted to go home but did not have the means. I began to amplify an already heavy drinking habit while simultaneously developing a benzo habit.
I was taking valium, x****, and especially, klonopins on a regular basis. I started blacking out and just sleeping through my opening shifts. They kept letting it slide because I would just make up some bullshit excuse and I was also the best seller at the location.
Eventually, the store manager told me that if it happens again, don't bother coming back. Well, it happened again after a long night of alcohol, cocaine, x****, and sex. I woke up to a ton of missed calls from the store manager and other assistant manager. I just silenced my phone and went back to sleep. When I woke up I gave my boss a call and told him that I was fired. They tried to get me to stay anyways but I was like "Naaah, I'm straight."
d*** dealer
either my job at vans or the tier 2 helpdesk position i had at geico
my shrink percentage at vans was 5% mfs were stealing for fun and our managers actively committed fraud and physically fought each other
geico said f*** it and put us on phone duty first day before we even started training that's when i knew they ain't give a f*** they just wanted us busy
Wendys, I absolutely hate entitled customers. Whenever they hit us with the “I pay your salary” I wanna beat a$$.
Working at GameStop for sure. S***ty pay, and the customers were horrible (mainly nerds w/ no lives & parents w/ s***ty attitudes, or didn't know anything about video games).
This didn't age well
Debt collector although I quit during training. Commend anybody that can do it tho. Couldn't imagine trying do that s*** during a pandemic
Panera was trash had me working hella hours when I was minor like 35-40 hour work weeks
Retail which im in now made me realized how stupid people are
working at target during black friday sucked. mostly because the store was packed and it was hot and humid as f*** in there. cyber monday was worse as far as actual work went
worked at a warehouse, worked at a kids party place, clothing stores, you name it. The worst job I ever had was my first software engineering job at a start up with a s***ty boss
