I don't wanna sit through Eminem songs again, please 😭
That Bully hook is the worst thing ever loool
My ears when he says "Buuuuuully" smfh
Speaking of Slick Rick..
Stan was some Slick Rick cosplay
and Illmatic was an ode to paid and full and IWW is a lesser version of the Infamous but all of these albums are fantastic so what's your point
Did Kool G Rap write this? This must explain why G Rap said def jam passed on Nas because he sounded like him

didn't Eminem make a whole album sounding like nas/az?
and it didn't take offso he went the Redman/masta ace/esham route and popped
Superman was spoofing ll cool j's I need love (the music video alludes to it as well ) the singing/soft rap style he's doing was literally done in the 80s
Bully is a bad song imo (the hook is bad)
Dads gone crazy isn't interesting either but I don't know how those two songs are orignal or brought anything to the game lol
that's my point tho, you just dont find him interesting or care for his music
Again, homage and interpolation in hip hop is constant, matter fact is one of the most common aspects of the genre. if the song sounded the same that would be one thing but they don't

OB4CL brought back mafioso rap and Nas was a part of that album.. his verse was hailed as the best verse on the album.
Also Kool G passed him the torch on this song
And you can hear that Nas has an original style on the song. He doesn't just emulate what Kool G is doing but switches it up and attacks the beat from an unexpected angle with that laid back flow.

Eminem was just less original than others
Never truly found his identity either that's why he switches up every few years
Rakim calling Em one of the goats but he could not tell that he was a Redman copycat

Wild how this happens but Biggie Jay Z and Nas all got flack for apparently copycating other artists during their.
In Conclusion:
And Bonus
“He contributes so much lyrically and musically. He’s amazing.”—NAS, BBC 6 Music, October 2008

imo he did from 1999-2005. I also consider Relapse a quintessential Em sounding album. after that he struggled and still does to find his sound but thats another topic

Nas is nice to everyone lol
Why does everyone of these threads have to dissolve into retroactive nonsense devaluing the work of an artist at their peak. Eminem has plenty of horrible albums to pile on and critique as vapid garbage but let’s stop with the unsophisticated cries that he was actually always bad and unoriginal. It’s essentially saying “I’m embarrassed by a cultural pocket of time where this sort of thing was evaluated as interesting and provocative, so now I’m going to apply unnecessary context about an artists influences and their persona to diminish their most significant output”. Eminem critics are cornier than his stans at this point.

You sure you know your favorite rapper better than us fam?
You sure you know your favorite rapper better than us fam?
Why would he s*** on Em if he wasn't a part of his beef and did nothing bad to him?
And after that beef he went back to being nice to all those ppl lol

Nah, you're being emotional. I brought up plenty of facts and evidence throughout the thread that you actively choose to ignore.
You sure you know your favorite rapper better than us fam?
They made up after that and big eachother up
Nas made it a point to say in an interview he never wanted to beef with Jay but the streets (entourage etc) were egging him on and he couldn't look like he was ducking jay basically
Fast forward to nas' nardwuar interview where he stopped nard from speaking on the ether beef cuz he made up with Jay, whilst standing up for jay nas verbatim said he'd take it as disrespect if nard tried to mention it again
There's plenty evidence to point out that nas is a very nice person,
You're also arguing in bad faith again
