the repeated poem is a super creative and important part of the album narrative
pac interview is aight. it’s cool but i’d listen to mortal man on its own a lot more if 60% of the song weren’t the interview. it’s still a good way to end the album, even if it takes away some of the enjoyment from the song in a vacuum, kind of like the interview in futura free
Literally couldve just split it and called the interview « outro »
Ah yes the album whose original title was To Pimp A Caterpillar (2pac) culminating in Kendrick interviewing hip hop's biggest icon is so corny

Yes.
You know the album is a masterpiece when they attacking everything else than the music on the album

Eh I kinda wish the skits on MM...Food were not removed but at least separated from the main songs.
Same with Aquemini.
embrace it!!!!!
they make for good transitions
imagine thinking that the album would be better without the interview
one of the most dumbshit takes ive heard in a minute
So you listen to all of Mortal Man every single time?

I hate Aquemini skits

More often than not, albums can do without skits.
Y’all over hate that tbh. It’s not even that huge of a deal. It doesn’t make or break the album. You know the album is great when they can’t say the lyrics are trash so you find something so minor to poke at.
No it would be a worse album without either.
The PAC interview is the last part of the song, at that point you could just skip it. It's really not that big a deal.
Nope, adds to the whole experience.

If I’m running through the entire album yes
Doesn’t even matter
one thing
I don’t know why
It doesn’t even matter how hard you try
I love this album and I think it'll be the best first listen I ever experience in my life. But I kinda agree Maybe he should've just done new bits of the poem instead of repeating parts he already said on previous songs and then done the complete version at the end of Mortal Man. Remove the 2pac interview but make the connection in interviews where he explains the 2 Pimp a Caterpillar title or have something on the album based on the vision he had which is mentioned at the beginning of the Hiipower music video.
But this is unlikely, he had that rare ass Pac interview and would want to use it. And the beginning of These Walls would not slap the same without that poem intro
