talking to this one girl that describes herself as a picky eater. Basically, carnivorous. Doesn't like salad.

She's fit in both senses of the word don't get me wrong but I'm trying to imagine going to a restaurant and her being limited in what she can order. Even fast-food like a burger she says she takes a bunch of key ingredients out.

Didn't think it would come as such a turn off but it does and it hasn't happened yet. F*** u mean u don't eat salad as a woman?

im the picky eater in the relationship

not chicken tenders tho, more like plain burgers picky for example (meat, cheese, bun only) I hate sauce.

    my twin

  • If that's their "worst trait" I ain't trippin

Also, when you've been around folks battling gout and all sorts of health issues, you kinda start seeing things differently.

But if they're just on some snobbery type beat, they better know how to cook and prep their diet

i think we're both picky in a way that she's a pescatarian and I prefer most of my foods plain... and I don't really vibe with seafood that much. she def makes fun of my palette tho

picky eater isn't even like a top 30 thing that matters as a personality trait, never understood why it's criticised so much

if i care enough about someone, matching/meeting their eating requirements is the easiest thing ever

For health reasons. I get it.

If you can't f***ing eat anything outside of processed American food then we can't date.

Picky enough that you will have to change your diet significantly, and you will always need to take your partner's tastes into account when you are grocery shopping or eating out. I realise that's vague, but it's the only fair way to word the hypothetical, if I said something specific like "she hates Chinese food" then for the people who don't like Chinese food either, there's no downside.

Realistically picky eater means eating only chicken nuggets or burgers. If someone just only eats their culture's cuisine that's tolerable.

picky eaters are kinda easy to work around though you just stick to their comfort zones and find what you like from their fav spots

I used to work with a girl that had one Reeses cup and half a bag of sour cream and onion Lays for lunch on the regular

Don’t think I ever saw her eat normal food

  • Tbh there’s a difference between someone who’s picky but is willing to try foods out vs someone who’s picky and refuses to eat anything beyond a 5 year old’s diet

If I order paella and you order the kids menu tenders at a restaurant. Idk if I can do that for the rest of my life man

there's way worse things in life than being a picky eater
