Kinda unrelated but I’m reading Major Labels by Kelefah Sanneh right now and he talks about how the term “rockstar” has been almost completely divorced from actual rock music for decades now and is more a signifier of a lifestyle. It’s an interesting read, I would recommend it to everyone on this forum
