We do a little trolling
20 fps is crazy man just make the graphics worse like wtf
CPU and GPU are two different things
ITS ABOUT THE THINGS INTERACTING not the graphics.
This has been explained so many times
People don’t seem to understand cpu limits where no matter the resolution it will still struggle to hit 60 due to all the things going on in the game (see starfield)
this can be explained a million times and they won't grasp it. even with the clear sandwich example of someone going ship to ship planet to planet gathering sandwiches. The game remembering all of that . Object permanence. bodies not disappearing from what we know
Why on earth would you think that lol
i feel as if most casual gamers just expect 4k as the standard when playing on a bigger screens but starfield as a game should have performance mode regardless

its really about he game remembering everything and not deleting . So bodies and destruction or whatever the player does to the world is permanently changed. its not just a graphical issue.

I’ll need to see it confirmed on PC builds first if anything with lower or equal specs is able to run it at 60 then we have a problem

Casuals playing sports games and battle royales with mediocre graphics I don’t think they’re graphic w****s

are you not understanding what I am saying?
-It is not a graphical issue so much as SCOPE. Object Permanence on that many planets. Ability to move objects. Ships remembering where you last placed objects and everything else. Much of the Direct made clear why it is 30FPS. Even the God of war dev explained it to DreamcastGuy. There have been many even playstation people who fully grasp the why

the consoles came out promoting 4k(60 ) even on the box and 4k tvs aren’t even expensive anymore so thats the bar graphic w**** or not for people tbh

They essentially stated in PR speak that the game would look like s*** if they included a performance mode, and picked graphics at 30 to not get laughed out the building.
In typical Bethesda fashion it's no doubt that this will get a "enhanced edition" with performance mode down the road on Xbox.

its not about graphics
without like machine learning or connection to online or some sort of cloud something I don't see a performance mode being rushed. Again its a lot of CPU.
Scope wise on either console there have been very few console generation exclusive as in not on ps4 or xbox one. That truly demand more from the console scope wise.
Starfield graphical style isn't focused on photorealism either way that is not the issue or the bottleneck. I really don't know how many times I can say this or how many people can tell you guys the same thing.

nah but people know what 4k looks like now, it’s plastered all over retail stores but anything else is just jargon

you forgot they even used 8k aswell like that’s not even gonna be reality when the pro versions come out for these consoles
ppl bought ps4s and xbones
This is the worst argument in this entire thread lmao

it's not an argument. i'm sorry your brain registered it as such

Yes you should always want to see improvement in games but 30fps vs 60fps is kind of a balancing act of scope. Most of the major 60fps games doing genuinely new things that aren't cross gen are few. Many of the games running at 60fps could be possible on previous gen consoles.

It's fine if there are outliers like Starfield but 60fps is a standard option now. Bro mentioned consoles from a decade ago that never even gave you the option
I’ll take mostly locked 30 over an uneven, choppy 40-60 any day. RDR2 is still one of the best 30fps experiences i’ve ever played on consoles, Rockstars mix of motion blur with perfect frame times feels and looks so good. If all the 30 fps games coming out were like that i’d be fine with it but with Starfield i’ve got a really bad feeling it’s gonna have uneven frames with tons of drops, hopefully Bethesda pulls through
