Facts. Attitude era is so overrated. The main event card was decent but outside of that, there was so many bad wrestling matches and some of those promos were so over the top and ass.

Ruthless aggression had some of the best wrestling of all time. That era was something special.

real ones know wrestling is currently in another GOLDEN ERA and has been for the past 5 years

great show, though tends to get overbooked. roster is getting bloated but they do a good job trying to make everybody feel important.

I don't think you actually watch or catch up with wrestling anymore, so I don't expect you to know the intense quality of matches that have been given to us recently.

Everytime i see something from these companies it doesn’t really look super cool or entertaining to me

I always watched wrestling for the craziness cool spots and great matches haven’t seen much of that but also haven’t looked much

My thing about the WWE is that the theme songs and costumes and get-ups are all influenced about counter-culture, edginess, pure rock emotions

but the product is so clean (as a great storyline writer, turned youtuber would say) and sterile now. I'll see like Rhea Ripley gussied up like someone from the late 90s with this punk vibe, and do nothing original or interesting for 15 minutes on Raw

They also just have too many top billing acts that are like 33+ and older. Dudes are wrestling now older than ever, but I feel like their writers need to be able to pivot these NXT dudes earlier. Like it's actually miraculous in comparison when you see what they were doing with Nexus this time a decade ago. The talent is still there from what I hear buttttt....

To me, it just seems like rap is nowadays. Still a ton of dope s***, but you gotta sift through so much repetitive narratives and nonsense to get to it
