The acquisition was finalized in October 2023; there was absolutely no way COD could even be considered an asset in their competitive strategy, especially with the CMA/FTC up on their asses trying to block the merger.

its just a matter of MORE third party games like Palworld coming to Game Pass alongside big first party experiences like Hellblade 2, Indiana Jones, Fable, Gears 6 and a new Forza Horizon

u think Microsoft sees this and thinks who cares?:
1. over 120 million Game Pass subscribers
2. over 30 million are PC or Ultimate
