Really?
So you can just pull up on random crews, have a good time, dip out, and then do it again with a new crew? I like a nice drop in/drop out multiplayer experience
Alright my interest is back. I’ll probably play it then. Binging one piece has me craving a good pirate game, hoping for a future collab
You tell them to release gears collection?
Why close everything, instead of restructuring the studios or fixing the problems ? (teams etc.)
i was just about to come in this thread this morning saying how trash redfall was i tried enjoying it i played a lot of it too but thats legit one of the worst games ive ever played
wasn't expecting anything more from those studios anyways tbh - moving on
Ghostwire and Redfall were clearly not on the quality level of Dishonored and Deathloop
HFR was a lucky one but there's a chance Microsoft was already done with Tango and HFR was their exit project

yeah like arkane austin i’m not surprised about at all

Tango im not surprised either
HFR was a great little game
but was the future of their entire studio really another HFR release? would Microsoft let them try ANOTHER property at risk of them botching it? and The Evil Within 3 is barely requested

I feel like people are over exaggerating a bit
These companies wouldn’t have be sustainable no matter what probably
Seems more like an industry wide issue than just Xbox

I think the frustration comes from the fact this industry is imploding, Microsoft is the largest player in the industry by far and instead of hunkering and trying to help stop the bleeding they are taking the easiest road out in acquiring dumping publishing profiting

if Microsoft didnt buy Bethesda the exact same s*** wouldve happened but BEFORE Redfall and after Ghostwire

cant force people to buy/play games tho
we not gonna act like EA, Ubisoft, Square, Embracer and PlayStation aren't in the same boat, right?
if not F2P, then only established franchises with well-made games and proper launches are going to do well

They've came out and said HiFi Rush was great by their own metrics
So why is Tango getting shut down? Are they just outright lying for no reason? It just doesn't make sense from a leadership standpoint, it doesn't make sense what you're telling consumers.
This entire era of Xbox have been quite nonsensical in direction truly.

They are all in the same boat. I don’t disagree with you I just think that’s one explanation why Microsoft is getting so much backlash
Make 1 bad game: shut down
Make a GOTY contender that YOU did not market but instead shadowdropped: shut down
Can't make this s*** up
Also f***ing hilarious to bring up Square. Afaik they haven't had layoffs in years lol. Forspoken turbo bombed and they didn't fire anyone at Luminous, they repositioned them across the publisher into different teams.
