Snoop just gets lifted the coolest s*** of all time

just finished y6, absolute peak

y3's influence was all over this and while 6 is better in every single way it made me appreciate y3 so much more in retrospect

probably my favorite story since kiwami 2. i was convinced the whole time that the baby wasn't haruka's and it was all some misunderstanding

but finally when i realized that twist wasn't coming i knew for sure that the father was gonna be someone kiryu knew and i never thought it was gonna be yuta

the hirose family was made up of a fun cast but nagumo and yuta were obviously the focal points. nagumo was a bit of a mixed bag for me. some moments i loved him and others he was just annoying. yuta was cool though. the fight between yuta and kiryu was so good. reminded me of when kiryu had to beat some sense into daigo

the final fight was so f***ing good. kiryu reaching ultimate badass levels, the boys coming out from the shadows to rescue haruka and haruto

the camera zooming out to reveal kiryu took the bullet for yuta who was gonna take the bullet for haruka

my only real problem was it felt like quite a few of the bosses had to be fought multiple times. the impact of those moments just aren't as hard when it's the 3rd fight, but i guess that's a result of having a shorter story with a smaller cast

i can see why people were upset about kiryu coming back in the most recent games, and maybe i'm working backwards because i already know he comes back, but it doesn't seem like that big of an issue to me. i think his story could have ended there but i also don't think it was definitive, it felt open ended to me. very interested in seeing how he's brought back into the fold.

not sure when i'll start 7 but i'm incredibly excited

i think i'd rank the kiryu games like this

i wanna get the pirate one but man i still need to beat 7 and infinite wealth
