You’ll get into a fight where there’s a pretty good power spike and you’ll see what we mean

the boss fights from 12 onwards are 11/10. honestly some of the best in the entire series.

damn, so were in this new area the whole game. I'm cool with that.

gotta say though the progression is kinda different , you get a upgrade later on in the first couple chapters that unlocks tracking for whatever achievements you've done while playing the game.

feels weird to get that unlocked when you deep in the game. But Yakuza games tend to unlock new things in the new chapters and through Main-Substory arcs

Story was ... I'd probably rank it towards the lower end. Final boss had so much damn health, just cheesed his s*** running around in circle while the heat gauged filled up because I was tired of it

There’s a few classic Yakuza things missing from this game but it’s right up there with 0. Really looking forward to the sequel.

really did not expect how emotional the game got at the end. thought they absolutely killed it in that regard.

the aoki fight wasn't amazing as the final one, but the tendo fight (and sawashiro) & the ending itself more than made up for it imo. the music on the boss fights ch12 onwards are SO good man.
