How much do y’all believe the joke/rumor that sega is ran by a crime syndicate
Wouldn’t really surprise me and I know the creator of yakuza be hanging with fellas that’s really apart of the yakuza

Wouldn’t be shocked. The Yakuza have had their hands in everything, even pro wrestling.
Just started 0 this is… interesting
finished like a dragon finally, went from 20 hours to 70 hours played in two weeks, really picked up once the initial story setup was done

Replaying it from the beginning again due to no save transfer for the ps5 version.
Almost caught up to where I’m at, the story definitely rich and deep
i’m so glad Like a Dragon has gotten this overwhelming amount of love, hopefully they continue with the turn based, fantasy style games for a while

They will
Spin offs can continue the old style
started judgment and finished the first chapter
was very tedious and too long imo...
hopefully it gets better
Shinada from Yakuza 5 should have been brought back for 6 :( . Mind you I'm still playing 5.

It ramps up
Has some dulled downtime in the middle then ramps back up
Well replayed Yakuza 7 ps5 version no damn save transfer and I’m past the point where I left off. In chapter 11 and s*** came full circle now.
This a good ass story

That's crazy, what happens to Yakuza if Nagoshi gone
After looking it up I don't know how involved Nagoshi was in recent releases Ryosuke Horii directed Yakuza 7 and Nagoshi apparently wrote the script for Judgement, though Koji Yoshisda directed it.
Judgement was dying anyway with that talent agency and steam issue. So at the least Yakuza may be fine without Nagoshi, but still a big loss for the series and SEGA.

i know he's been working on the games less because he got into the c-suite at sega, but still. believe he's done a lot of the narrative writing for the games as well. gonna be a huge loss to the series going forward.

Yea far as development goes he hasn't been doing that for awhile, but was important to the script for Judgement, can't tell how much work he did with 7.
Only real big issue could be if he takes more talent from sega with him to his new job
