I don't know if this means they'll continue judgement or not, I know Nagoshi wrote the story for that and it was so solid
Probably the best story in the entire series, hate to see him go
I think Ryosuke will hold s*** down for Ichiban tho
Kiryu voice actor on Nagoshi leaving, says he will still be around, so idk if that implies there will be more Kiryu games or not. He could do other voices I'm sure, kinda hope Kiryu games is put to rest at this point he don't need anymore.
Finna buy the first 3
If this s*** is boring I’m blaming you
Definitely.
However, it’s a great series.
By first 3 do you mean 0, 1 & 2 or 1, 2 & 3. That’s a different first 3. Trust me.

Buy Yakuza 0 and Judgment, if you like 0 try the rest of the series ( my ranking: Y0=Y5>Y2>Y4>Y1>Y3 ) if you liked Judgment ( One of the best rgg games imo) there’s a sequel that just released.

Haven’t played it yet, but seems like people f*** with it heavy.

it's definitely up there. though there's a couple points in the story that just get so incredibly stupid (in typical yakuza fashion), that just hurt an otherwise solid story. i can't take these games' stories very seriously because of the dumb s*** they end up throwing in for no reason.

man forreal
to me, the judgment games are just so much better. i appreciate a good story, and the judgment series has been perfect in that regard. i can only take random, nonsensical twists/fake-outs so many times in yakuza games.

I always felt like the Yakuza stories were more drama than serious crime stories but even then, some parts of the stories are so predictable it just ends up being funny. Judgment is definitely better at delivering a good story but i feel like the sidequests in Judgment weren’t up to par with the best Yakuza games. Once they can nail that, Judgment will be better. Haven’t played Lost Judgment so they might already have done that
