Playing through Yakuza 7 for the first time rn so this is perfect

I finished Like a Dragon when it first came out before I had even finished 3-6

But I just finished 6 a week ago. I’ve officially played all the games from 0 to Like a Dragon and then the Judgment games

I’m still not a turned based guy, but Like a Dragon was still great. Just keep Judgment as it is tho. Combat is perfect now IMO.

I did them in chronological order and finally got to Like A Dragon just now.

If I could do it again I probably wouldn't have played Y0 first because it ruined the next several games

I made it in like an hour by doing the kappa side quest and business management. Grinded from rank 79 to rank 50 in like 30 minutes.

Game def needs a fast forward speed for battles or skipping animations like persona has

Not sure how exactly, but feel like classes could have a bit more depth added to them or branching paths

i give a pass to the first since that actually happens in japan, bbc.com/news/world-asia-45649009 and they did say it was really low odds of survival. The details of it were kinda ridiculous but what is a yakuza story without some ridiculous plot twist lol

The 2nd one is dumb, but like it's so dumb it's funny. Like rubber bullets is top tier dumb as f\*\*\*. mirror face is completely unrealistic and just going full saturday morning cartoon villain.

Aizawa plot was also just on some different s*** too

i was cool with there being one locker baby, but two?? it felt so incredibly contrived.

but yeah, that second one was rough. thought it took a good bit of the wind out of an otherwise pretty well grounded (for yakuza stardards, anyways) and good story. but yeah, like you said, they're yakuza games, so wacky ass plot twists come with the territory lol.
