50hrs total. Kinda only did like 20 substories and fought majami 30 times. Not really doing a completionist run just trying to experience atleast all I can in a regular playthrough.

Take a break before moving on to 2 bro.

Like cleanse your palette with another game if you need to but 2 is really good, one of the top games in the series and I'd hate for you to experience burnout during it.

Going from 0 and Kiwami to Kiwami 2 is sooo good

But then you gotta go back to Yakuza 3

I def have other games /GOW/Pokémon FN. But I really just wanted to reach kiwami 2 being on the same engine as yakuza 6 yet to play it I’m gonna take my time with this one . I don’t feel burnt out with kamurocho and I haven’t really done a ton of mini games.

I’ve been really enjoying the story. Guess that’s because I’m doing light side stuff and then going into the next cutscene

    pushsquare.com/news/2022/11/like-a-dragon-ishin-producer-talks-historical-setting-development-and-upgraded-battle-system

We can't help but devour any new Like a Dragon: Ishin! info as fast as we can get it. Recently, fans at Twitchcon had the opportunity to go hands-on with the title and give their impressions. Now a full interview with producer Hiroyuki Sakamoto from the event has been released, in which the setting, story and upgraded battle system are discussed.

During the seven-minute discussion, we learn that including the time spent tinkering around with Unreal Engine 4, Like a Dragon: Ishin! has only been in full development for about a year and a half, which is a remarkably short turn-around time for something on this scale.

RGG Studios ditched its proprietary Dragon Engine for this project, as it was apparently not great at depicting daytime scenes. Not such a problem in the darkened back alleys of Kamurocho, but a different matter entirely when your story takes place in the sunny former capital of Heian-kyō, or modern-day Kyoto.

Sakamoto confirms that content not present in the original 2014 release will make an appearance in the 2023 remake in the form of optional sub-stories, an updated soundtrack, all-new battle skills, and, most important of all, additional karaoke songs. You will even be able to customise your appearance with the latest Edo style.

    Just beat Kiwami 2

In terms of gameplay and such it's just overall better than 1 so not much to say there but story wise it's a bit closer for me. I rlly liked Ryuji as the antagonist, he was a man of honor despite his antics, and that final fight was cool asl but I felt like the ending from the 1st game was better and more sentimental.

This game felt like Kiryu was a bit more of a supportive character which kinda makes sense given everything that happened in the 2 prior games.

Won't jump in to 3 right away but already dreading the graphic decline

    So far: 0 > 7 > 2 > 1
