7 wasn’t originally turn based, they made an April Fools Day trailer reveal with the game being turn based and it was received so well that they revamped the game and made it into a turn based RPG.

Holy s*** man, we’re feasting with 3 games in the span of 16 months. I also feel like Hawaii is the perfect non-Japan setting for a Yakuza since it’s still very Japanese/Asian influenced, yet also accessible to the growing western audience. They already confirmed we’ll still have kamurocho, sotenbori and Yokohama too, sounds perfect
