Beat it, a lot of stupid s*** happened in Yakuza 4 with everyone's guns being equipped with rubber bullets and Akiyama thinking that hiding 100 billon yen in a safe that doesn't require a pin or any sort of security is somehow a good idea but the way these characters story converged into the finale was pretty cool. Time for Yakuza 5

5 is the longest and cause of that my least favorite, enjoy tho you might fw it more than me

Playing Yakuza 5 rn and Kiryu having a bad b**** like Mayumi around for 6 months and not hitting once might be less believable than the rubber bullets, RGG really doesn't want to give Kiryu a love interest

Holy f\*\*\* we really Oshi no Ko in part 3 of Yakuza 5\. You might not like it but this is what peak Yakuza gameplay looks like

EDIT: They killed off Park, knew this bullshit was gonna happen. Hate to see it cause the the Haruka/Park dynamic was probably my favourite part of the story in this game so far

How the f*** did they go from Yakuza 5 to having a whole new engine and voiced dialogue for every substory in Yakuza 6?

A good couple years passed, they went to ps4 but yeah that s*** is super dope

They actually went from Yakuza 0 & Kiwami, then to the Dragon Engine and that's one of the things that pisses me off the most. Yakuza 0 with the Dragon engine would be

Oh yea, idk why but for some reason I thought 0 released after 6, if anything you can tell that they really perfected the old engine in Yakuza 0 cause that game felt smooth asf

I think I remember reading small discourse about people not liking 6 because of the new engine but all the small QoL improvements just make this a more enjoyable experience over 3,4 and 5 imo

I know a lot of folks prefer the old engine to the dragon engine, but I def prefer the dragon… especially with how lost judgment perfected it
