Started a job last Friday as a janitor

Pay was 15.00 an hour not to bad I actually fw the hours wasn’t to long either

The company was easily understaffed like crazy (They hired me the same day)

I didn’t show yesterday to work or today nor did I check in with them

now I’m wondering If I’m fired especially since I’ve still new

I actually fw this job to the co workers were cool af

Done it twice. Regretted it 0 times

Never ghosted a job. I always have shown up and committed to the work for the first few weeks, even if I'm off the bat disliking it, incase I change my mind.

If by the time I'm familiar with the job and still not feeling it then I just tell them I'm quitting.

Done it three times and I feel I made the right decision.

One was a deli person at a grocery store. I over slept for the interview.

The second was a call center. I actually went for the orientation. Weirdest thing ever. They interviewed five of us at once. Hated the attitude of all the managers. The HR lady called me the next day asking when I can start. I immediately cut her off and told her I quit lol.

The third was a gas station job. I got hired and was supposed to start later in the week. Found a better job and the store manager at the gas station left me a sassy voicemail.

Yall really have s*** work ethic huh

I did it once, this one job i worked told me they aren't renewing my contract im like cool idc. Then a week or two went and in the middle of the shift when my section was empty i just told the coworkers i fw im out and i left

I've ghosted 2 interviews in 2 weeks with no shame

Decided not to settle and keep grinding

Except my second job at McDonald's at 16.

If they were busy at night they would illegally make me stay and work past curfew and I had school in the morning you know?

One night I was on back cash taking orders AND taking cash, only one doing so. The manager made me clock out right at 10pm or whatever and told me I had to stay because she was understaffed.

Now I hated this manager with my whole being. She was the original meaning of the work Karen.

30 f***ing minutes pass. There's cars lined the f*** up. I'm in the middle of an order and I just take off the headset. I walk to the bathroom and left it on the ground and sneaked out the back way.

Waited bout a month before I started showing back up for mchickens.

one time a friend in class asked me if I wanted to start a company with him and I said no. that man grew up to be Bill Gates

I give it 2 weeks before deciding

I also ghosted this weird ass 95% Asian foam warehouse thru a temp agency.

After week 1 I was all alone and my training was God awful because I couldn't understand my trainer with his accent and the warehouse noises.

I f***ed up 3 huge blocks of foam and didn't show up after. Switched to a restoration gig and man what a good choice

How do you just decide you don't feel like getting up? Lol y'all have to realize you need to eventually grow up and become a normal functioning adult

My friend just did this cause he didn’t like the hours of his current job and now he has no job.
Just tough it out until you find a better job better than not getting paid.

I did it for a coffee shop, the pay was s*** and I couldn't understand the tablet cash register s*** lmao, I'm too used to old school registers I guess. Plus one time the thing simply didn't work and the boss blamed me

I told them I was going back to school but I just ended up starting doordash instead
