Both Cole and Chance been dropping mid their whole careers

Drake and Cole had/have more legit fans.

Chance had a decent fanbase but no where on the level of more mainstream rappers. Hence, it was easy for him to fall off and not catch a buzz again.

Wayne also benefited from having a big/loyal fanbase in the 10-13 era when he was dropping a lot of mid too.

Shouldve dropped an album soon after The Big day to save his reputation. Then again his voice hurts my ears and he is corny as hell

He wasn't established enough to drop that dud as his 'debut', that mixed with the fact that he's generally a corny person just didn't stack well together.
