the tides were definitely beginning to turn by then. the growing consensus was that he was becoming an a****** and his music wasn't good enough to justify his ego. even though the big day, in retrospect, was just a boring and tepid 5/10 album, the way people were already extremely fed up with him made a dud album become a career ending album. he didn't realize how make or break that album was when he was working on it and he's been languishing ever since because of it.

Yeah, cus his music was good and he was hot. Im from the Chicago area so I saw this s*** all the time. He was the GUY back in the day.
People didn't really f*** with Chance as a person like that tho.
