It does seem like the story and side quests are fairly mid though.

One of the developers talked about how there were over 60 of them in one town alone, but that isn’t that impressive if they just amount to “Collect 5 of this specific plant and bring it back here for some money” type quests.

Hopefully they utilize the games mechanics in interesting ways à la Tears of the Kingdom to at least elevate them beyond the mundane.

Is this going to be the new benchmark game? I feel like cyberpunk has been the gpu benchmark game since its release and am curious if it’ll ever be replaced.

Can def see this game being bloated with uninteresting stuff honestly

The sandbox elements seem pretty great though

Feel like the main story will be average at best but all the other s*** you can do will carry the game. Can’t wait to explore stuff.

It should hopefully. Looks promising, but who knows, afaik they haven’t shown any extended console footage. Could end up being a cyberpunk situation where the console versions are buggy with wonky performance.

But the devs seem to be pretty straight up. Hopefully console tech reviews will be out before launch.

Seems like a game that will be good to get after they patch some things like 5 months down the line, prefferably on sale or something

I really hope the game itself takes advantage of all these mechanics so they just don’t end up being a bunch of superfluous alternative things you can do.

Options are cool, but I do want there to be actual utility to them à la BOTW/TOTK.
