PROB THIS
Nothing that couldn't be fixed after a few patches. Outside of the story not being on the level of TW3 lol. But that's the case for 90% of games

Think it will be one of those games that first time single player experience, rough around the edges, if it gets a sequel it should blow it out the park
like going from just cause to just cause 2, kcd1 to kcd2, etc
Interesting they’re only showing the pro version. If I had a base console I’d still wait before buying.

I trust it’ll run fine. They released specs.

Just watched the video and those pro specs are real, so I’ll assume they’re telling the truth about the rest.
Still good to be cautious. I hope FSR3 can pull through with a clean image
Oh my god
Hm I’m new to digital foundry. Are they gonna talk about the story at all? I know they probably can’t go terribly in depth on that aspect but that’s the only part that has me worried. I think I’m gonna cop for ps5 though because it still looks like a really fun time.

They mostly focus on the technical parts of the game, some light covering of combat and systems but not much about the story/experience.
Leaked reviews said the story is mid but not unplayable. Think TOTK compared to Witcher 3, still enjoyable to go through but not much depth to it.

Interesting. Seems like a day 1 cop if you have a pro but wait a couple weeks/month for patches if you have a standard model.

Why though? Ps5 regular still projected to get 60 fps as well lol

Idk just kinda sayin s*** but also based off the video I could see potential patches that would possibly help the consoles with not as much power.

Guys are just yapping at this point lol

Idk they seem to be trustworthy so far so I believe them. They said base ps5 has a 30 fps graphics mode, 40 fps in the middle mode, and 60 fps performance mode. Seems to be fair.

I get the story stuff I don’t expect it to be amazing or anything. This seems like an explore and do fun s*** game which is kinda want I want. But performance stuff idk why people refuse to believe it even when it’s being shown to run fine. The devs have been great at showing stuff so far. I don’t feel like they’re hiding anything lol.

i expect it to be similar ff16, probably gnna drop frames in crowded combat situations, but wat else ppl expect on a 7 year old cpu
Any word on how well the game manages to pull off all this wild s*** (mechs, dinosaurs, dragons etc.) in terms of cohesion?
Does everything feel logically consistent or does it still feel hodgepodge as hell?

Probably gonna have to wait until full reviews to see those impressions.
The leak review didn’t mention it afaik, but it was in Spanish so didn’t watch it all myself

What was the score?
Probably will end up under/low 80s when the dust settles on metacritic. But the fact they went for such an ambitious idea and ended up executing on like 90% of it is so impressive. All on their own engine too.
There are massive AAA studios with thousands of workers that would fall apart trying to make a game with this scale.
