That belongs to Satellite Flight imo. Some niggas will say SBTH. But SBTH has it's stans lmaoo
Satellite Flight barely gets talked about. It's really the closest sounding album to a MOTM esque project than PPDS.

Sep 5, 2023·2 repliesHe just needs heavy creative direction & guidance tbh. Having Emile & plain pat direct the sound early on helped immensely. Most Ain’t Dennis shows he can still be creative with his voice & sound but he needs someone to structure the songs and direct the vision cus otherwise it’s messy & awkward. He is definitely not someone who should just be jumping on BNYX beats

Tbh im confused on who hes aiming for
Hes taking a more youthful approach and isolating og fans a bit, but i dont think its appealing much to younger crowds
I feel like he just made a pretty huge album a couple years ago w motm 3 and then has lost that formula since, but then again maybe motm 3 benefited from being a motm
even then I feel like it slipped. I remember in one trailer it had a narration like “these feelings have come back” and it just felt so lame and underwhelming for the such a strong trilogy. to me PPDS is MOTM3

he’s one of my fav artists but i prefer his melodic stuff like entergalactic, his rapping in 2023 just sounds dated and he’s showing his age, idk it just doesn’t sound like the same person who made ppds, idk if it was the stroke but something is just off ab him rn
In the Cudi doc Shia was talking about his process and saying when he’s in there, he’s digging and digging for his truths. When he said that I always thought maybe that’s really painful after so many albums and he just doesn’t want to go back down there, but it’s what’s made his albums great

Never understood the hate for MOTM3
Goat album.
nah it is a good album and I like majority of the songs, cried a lot to sept 16. but I can’t bring myself to say it’s great because conceptually it’s really lacking

This right here is the problem imo, and I’m a huge Cudi fan and supporter.
I genuinely feel if I was to lock in with Cudi for a whole album and executive producer it i would have him having a legit AOTY contender and everyone would be back to praising him.
This would have to be a minimum of 1 year to make though.

yeah i agree to an extent, like we probably won't get another mr. rager without him doing that, but i also think he doesn't necessarily need that, entergalactic was great and it was just him in a good place
