too big to fail, at this point

  • Mar 19, 2021

The hype keeps getting bigger with every dlc he drops. By the time the album drops it better be good or it's gonna be a messy situation after the long ass wait.

    Drake gonna be like hov

He keeps up with trends and has that pop crossover potential

Bro drake fell off (artistically) when he dropped views. He’s a 100% sales artist now and he’s not falling off in that category anytime soon

He’s like the apple of rap. He can serve as much mid as he wants and people will still line up for it

  • Mar 19, 2021

If he survived Scorpion nothing is going to bring him down

Why are you people so obsessed with Drake falling off?

    They think everyone fell off

    ThemCLBniggasweak

Alot of people are speculating that this next album will be Drake’s fall off.

Im not a CLB nigga but i doubt it. At this point Drake’s fall off is impossible. Him ”falling off” would still mean that whenever he drops something he’ll go #1, he’ll still have the biggest hits.

The fall off will be just people talking s*** about him. I cant imagine a era where niggas arent bumping Drake.

terms like "falling off" do not apply to drake. thanks to his versatility and melody, he can stay afloat for as long as he likes.

He's not like these other artists

  • Mar 19, 2021

    Comercially he wont fall off

Creatively the falloff started with Scorpion IMO

To the Incoming CLB stans - I said IMO dont attack me

DLDT got outsold by a country album and Scorpion's first week sales were only like 65-70% of what was originally projected. We're in the midst of it.

Doesn't matter that he just made history during the driest period for music that I can remember.

nah drake will never truly 'fall off' he's too established. it will at minimum be the way Hov, Eminem, Wayne, Ye, etc are where they always have a buzz about them when they drop based on their past greatness.

Musically drake is falling off in terms of quality. But he’s still on a tier that nobody can reach because he will always know how to make great songs. Nobody gets tired of him. We’ve heard the Lemon Pepper Freestyle type songs for over a decade now and it still has us glued when it drops. Stat wise and commercially he will go down that HOV route. Always be in the light of music in general and be the OG to the game.

Moral of the story if someone wants to argue drake has falling off or is falling off musically they aren’t wrong. But even drake post 2018 no rapper can even keep up with him so it doesn’t really matter. Commercially he isn’t going anywhere for a while

    CLB 2021 leggo

  • Mar 19, 2021

Rap would be boring as f*** if Drake falls. He's just getting older, kids want someone younger to follow.

want him to fall off strictly so he can go back to acting

need him in a comedy movie or something s*** would b funny

  • Thought this was about COLE...

    Never

  • Mar 19, 2021

It's going to happen eventually but not like a huge fall off in terms of popularity. I think he'll be like an Eminem where later in his career, where he still sells a lot (around 200k fw album wise) but wouldn't have HUGE hits like he used to.

  • Mar 19, 2021

Because it's an album. Calling it a loosies tape is an excuse to downplay the poor sales. It's a project full of unreleased songs that was preceded by singles, one of which went #1. It also had super anticipated songs like Pain 1993.

  • Mar 19, 2021

In before Drake stans infiltrate this thread crying about how they feel personally attacked about people discussing his fall off

  • Mar 19, 2021

I swear...whenever people predict Drake "falling off", he comes back stronger.

It always happens. Always. I remember reading a Coli thread saying that Drake was gonna fall off like Ja Rule/50 Cent after NWTS from back in 2014 lmao.

Drake is too established and marketable to have a major fall off. He might gradually decline like most rappers do but he's just been to consistently hot to fall off hard in an instant.

Now, artistically, is a totally different story. It's widely accepted that Drake's prime ended in 2015.
