Nah he still has some juice left, if he does fall off you'd know. It wouldn't be a question.
Only right answer ITT.
He needs to pass the torch, but keep in mind - he still got some years left to do what he want.
Another thing: Drake's hotness is very much dependent on his competition.
Kendrick, Cole, Travis, and Cardi are the only rappers who can compete with Drake commercially. The first two are on hiatus and the last 2 aren't as established as Drake although they have potential.
But none of these newer rappers. None of them are in a position to overtake Drake as the new ringleader of rap. Not Lil Baby. Not Youngboy. Not Uzi. Not DaBaby. Not Megan. Not Pooh. Not Durk.
They're not bad but they just don't have the "It" factor to replace Drake.
this man just had his 3 singles debut in the top 3 of the billboard and yall think he fell off
Alot of people are speculating that this next album will be Drake’s fall off.
Im not a CLB nigga but i doubt it. At this point Drake’s fall off is impossible. Him ”falling off” would still mean that whenever he drops something he’ll go #1, he’ll still have the biggest hits.
The fall off will be just people talking s*** about him. I cant imagine a era where niggas arent bumping Drake.
OVO and Drake in particular have just been too calculated over the years to have any ridiculous “fall off”. What I could see happening is Drake branching off into other avenues like other artists do, movies, business etc.
Even though I didn’t like Views when it came out and many people claimed it was the start of his decline, he went from strength to strength. Always defies the odds. I also think to his and OVO’s credit they don’t seem to “yes men” and just let garbage fly out for consumption which would make people think that.
But in short, no I don’t think it’s (the fall off) happening or will happen the conventional way.
cant believe some people still want to see drake down fall
i got a bad news for ya its impossible
this dude just broke history with the top 3 debut lol
True but it’ll be interesting to see what the staying power of any of them will be tbh

He doesn't need to do anything. No one passed the torch to him.
I also think that Drake is unique, he may be the most talented act Hip-Hop has ever seen so I impossible to project what his fall off will look like
He’s too good at rap and song making in general to truly “fall off”
No one has had his skill set to the extent that he does

he just went 1,2, and 3 on billboard lmao who’s still talking fall off talk? seems insane to me
I mean if we being honest he's already fallen off but still making mad moves. Drake is smart. He's fall off won't be as bad as Wayne and Eminem

Yeah but they argument is that the machine and the label are pushing him while the music not being up to par anymore.
Not my opinion but that is where the energy is coming from.
Drake talked about exiting gracefully on Brons podcast. Which I only see coming the moment he finds something that interests him more than music.
Kobe retired the moment his mind did not go to basketball while meditating. For Kobe it was his family and film making.

if people really believe it was the label and the “machine” that made those records debut what they did.. then i’d rather not even argue with them lmfao. those songs were posted by every single person i follow on ig. they were EVERYWHERE. people will always try to push the fall of narrative and it is what it is, but he continues to prove them wrong. idk when drake’s going to retire but yea it won’t be because he “fell off” lol

Plus, Drake has already shown true longevity. He's had a legit run before streaming even took over.
Obviously, he's not some Indie/DIY artist but his achievements are less suspect than most others.
Plus, the competition is really weak rn which is why that Country singer still has the number 1 album in the country after damn near over 2 months.
Drake is still the moment. He drops something, everyone listens.
Sure the album may not break records like Scorpion/Views did, but that would be fine, because it can still be relatively huge and also be a better album than they were and that would be a W.
