i have a theory that having a hit single, very early, then blowing up is a curse in disguise
Most of the rappers/singers on top had to wait yearsss before having top 10 hit
But now cause of TikTok, these new artists 2nd or 4th song ever becomes a hit and then the pressure to find the next one comes
And you fast forward 3yrs down, they slowly r becoming irrelevant and more of a celebrity/influencer on social media
This usually happens when an artist has no fanbase to fall back on
She is a literal plant. Only heard of her on curated playlists and features on big artists. Organic growth only. A real star will be born in the streets not some no name getting her representation to get her on fallon
Hate. She’s a South African queen
Op isn't talking bout a rap superstar. She's not rap at all lol
That’s what the discourse has been
I didn’t know that people felt that way about pop also. Is Olivia rodrigo bad bunny etc not the answer for that lane?
Came in ready to hate, but I been rocking with the song for a lil min. Them vocals sound good

for example, drake was doing music since the mid-2000s before he finally blew up with SFG in 2009
