Couple things to keep in mind here. First, the polling methodology ignores young voters and voters who aren’t traditionally Democrats/didn’t vote in 2016 primary. So, Bernie and Yang are going to be the candidates who’s poll numbers are most affected by that methodology (probably Yang more so than Bernie, but both are likely significant since most of their support is among young voters).

Second, this Emerson poll also asked respondents how likely they were to actually vote. Yang and Bernie had 72% saying they were definitely voting for their candidate. Biden had 45%, Pete had 21%, and Warren had 20%.

Assuming voter turnout reflects that likeliness, based off RCP average, NH would look like this:

Bernie- 46%
Biden- 24%
Yang- 10%
Pete- 7%
Warren- 7%
Klob- 6%

While Iowa would look like this:

Bernie - 37%
Biden- 28%
Warren- 10%
Pete- 10%
Klob-9%
Yang- 8%

Now that’s only factoring in voter excitement and not assuming under representation of support in polls.
