What’s the point of making real music when people gonna say you irrelevant/a nobody and then still attempt to give the same flowers to the nigga who phoned it in for 15 years with radio bait lol

We have the rap industry we collectively deserve

What the f*** is real music

What the f*** is real music

Designed without regard for chart success/clubs/scaring the hoes

If it happens to be successful in those environments cool but for the past 30 years especially that’s been the main goal of most major label music when there was a time where it was as bad to be a sellout milli vanilli vanilla ice mc hammer type artist as it is now when we talk about people like Tekashi.

And that’s the main problem with the Mos Def thing, everyone pretty much 40 and under has grew up in an era of rap where pop success was the main goal and Drake is just the apex of that mentality. People are confused because we don’t know an era where pop success (or mainstream rap success) in some form isn’t the goal for most of the notable names of the past few decades

Its like real estate, music you can touch and feel???

  • I wanna end this once and for all...

Drake dont owe nobody s***, he dont have to speak on anything he don’t feel like, and can speak about whatever he feels like.

Drake dont have to be catering to the fans of Mos Def, Talib Kweli, Dead Prez, Common, Public Enemy. Those records are for them, he makes his own records.

    Let a young nigga live.
