Nah if Ye wants to tell his story the way that he sees it then he should finance and make his own documentary.
donda label fiasco actually happened tho. do yall not remember how jail 2 just wasnt on the album at first lol

He dramatized it all. He claimed the album wasn’t cleared for release when it in fact was and his manager announced the exact time it was dropping. Then he blamed Universal for forcing it out, then shifted blame to Dababys manager who was thrown off by the entire accusation that he’d stop his own artist from being on a Kanye album.
How is Universal all of a sudden forcing a Kanye album release at 8am on a Sunday?
Right when he was awake and they asked for clearance DaBabys manager immediately did it and it dropped.

it doesnt matter if he dramatized it, that's exactly what he's doin here w/ the doc by posting an insta post about dis being his "last time asking nicely" or whatev he said. i aint debating that ye is a very very dramatic guy
my point was just that the donda label fiasco actually happened. the album couldn't have been cleared 4 release if they had to ask dababy manager for jail 2 after the album had already been released

Then why did Kanye’s own team announce the release? It dropped right when they said it would. Shouldn’t you clear fully before announcing a drop?
Kanye posted texts saying DaBabys manager was tryna bring him down when he didn’t even know Kanye’s team was looking for a clearance
Like this doesn’t happen with anyone else.

btw "last time asking" has interesting implications cus i know ppl itt wanna think that ye is so uncoordinated that he only thinks to ask for smthn like this 2-3 days prior to release
but
social media posts aint everything

? i dunno n i dunno what we're debating. u can't be sayin that kanye is just lying, bc it's fax jail 2 was just literally not on the album at first even tho we knew that the album would have 27 tracks on it some behind the scenes s*** went wrong...mayhaps we will call it a fiasco
donda label fiasco actually happened tho. do yall not remember how jail 2 just wasnt on the album at first lol
no it didnt lmao
did we not see that Coodie responded?
indiewire.com/video/kanye-west-jeen-yuhs-doc-coodie-chike-interview-1234692467
“From my understanding, Kanye hasn’t seen it yet,” ... “His team has seen it and I believe they showed him something. But I’m not certain. I haven’t had a conversation with Kanye about it.”
-
And if West disagrees with any presentation of his past, Coodie reminded audiences that that’s just it, West’s own history. “We have to be true to the story. We can’t sugarcoat nothing. Everybody is going to have their own opinion,” Coodie said.
-
Seems like they made attempts to get Ye to watch it but he was resistant. I'd imagine they tried in 2020 maybe
Coodie reflected, “I feel like he will appreciate it, just to see his life. When I went to show him one time and we didn’t get to watch it, I just let him know, ‘When we do watch this, you have to be around everybody that loves you when you watch this film.’ That’s his life. That’s our life together, but he’s the protagonist. He is that person. I will always tell him, ‘When you watch this, watch it with us so we can all laugh and cry together. That will make it magical.'”
Also like i been saying, this isn't a definitive Ye doc and they literally describe how one would go:
This is not a Kanye West documentary,” Coodie stated. “Kanye would have to have an affinitive documentary from birth. After I stopped filming him, other people have been filming. He has so much footage on himself so when he does his affinitive doc, that’s going to be the doc. I’m pretty sure it might be done differently with interviews or however they’ll do it, but I’m pretty sure that’ll be the next thing for Kanye.”

meanwhile this nigga running up and down paris streets with pusha and Julia
cant write it honestly
Lame doc then
It's.
I like to think this doc in this perspective:
If Chance made a interview about Kanye back in 2015 in the "waves" era he would say just a bunch of good things.
Imagine the same Chance talking about Kanye that day after that Kanye screams at him on the ranch back at Wyoming. Chance would smash Kanye based on his hurt ego.
The same about this two producers.
If Kanye was a good person to them then the doc will take a nice perspective of Kanye. If he been a douchebag to this folks (which is most probably to be true) then this gonna be a new VMA incident level of denigrating thing to Kanye's life.
It's not impartial at all.
Because the footage will tell the story that they're willing to be the true.
It's.

You're basing these on hypotheticals that haven't even happened tho. That's a lot of if's
Kanye was never a douche to these guys they genuinely love him. Check any of the recent interviews you can see the passion. This whole promo run even after the IG post they've been nothing but nice and down to earth guys...which is what they've always been
Its not like Chance came out against Ye after that either these are all people who will and have 100% shown up for him at his lowest points like any decent friend. We saw that clip months later and when has Chance burned Ye

He wanted Jail PT 2 to be on it but they released it without. That pissed Ye off and he said/assumed universal released it without permission.
What really happened is Akon's brother forgot to get da baby cleared and blamed da baby's manager himself. Kanye even screenshotted the text that Akon's brother sent him saying Da Baby's manager refusing. That's when Kanye went on a rant against Da Baby's manager. He never even got the request in the first place and that's Akon's brother fault. All a misunderstanding

lmao doesnt he literally own the rights to the doc already or some s***
