MAGA context ruined this album's perception tbh. I was disillusioned with Ye with the bullshit he was doing before the rollout so I already came into it being negative. This immediately being compared to Daytona also didn't help.

It's definitely not among his best but I do think it's a solid album. There's a certain set of memories attached to it that I really look back at fondly.

That being said, I wish it was longer and I wish it had more time to be made. You can tell it was rushed because of Love Everyone being scrapped and certain verses not really being fleshed out. But I think this is the closest Ye has sounded to "Old Ye" in a very long time.
