May 26·1 replyPokerking4128I think if there was some proof that Ye was invested in this album I would be motivated to listen to it more to find something meaningful.
But sadly I only have AI aka proof of laziness, during Vultures 2 Ye wasn't present, someone else finished his songs with AI, then Donda 2 2025 he clearly didn't want to do anything so he finished those songs with AI vocals, same pattern sadly with Bully.
Can I just say that all those short songs even without any previous versions just sound very lazy compared to opuses from MBDTF or Graduation or 808s and Heartbreak or any album before TLOP.
On the other hand, Vultures 1 is undoubtedly finished.I'm sure there'll be more leaks from the album that you can compare to and see that there was a lot of versions and drafts put in to making the final product
I'm not across everything with the AI stuff but I'm pretty sure there's only AI vocals on songs that we have leaks/demos of recorded versions too, he just likes how the AI version sounds, that to me at least shows that more time or effort or "finishing it" won't make you like it more because that's not the problem, it's an artistic choice
Overall I just think it's more compelling to say you like music because of what you hear with your ears not what you think about while putting together vague and incomplete context clues, "effort" is not on its own the determining factor for music sounding good imo because its much more spiritual and ethereal than that

I agree that I should enjoy music, but I spent a long time post Yeezus trying to get myself to truly enjoy TLOP, Ye, Donda, etc. As I thought that Ye can't miss and he is a genius, and I just didn't catch up to him yet.
But as Vultures 2 and Donda 2 and Bully dropped, there is no interest for me to dig into those projects as neither Ye was interested in making them
