There are a s*** ton of scams of varying degrees in crypto. doesn’t mean there also isn’t merit, technological & monetary innovation happening too

But this tech could be applied to actual artistic creations that would already have value in a non-digital market (ye protecting his future music through nft’s). But for the artist to actually be the one to benefit from this, the nft is just the contract/protection/ownership and the actual work is not sold to whatever d*** bag like Martin Shkreli and the wutang album situation. The artist maintains ownership but still finds ways to profit by giving access to the masses. The value ye sees is opposite to how s*** like BAYC is using the tech
