Kanye can just go chronologically through his solo work starting with Intro(Skit) and ending on Ghost Town and win

kanye and pharrell are way more equal than you think lmao

Nah I know Pharrell's legit. Just jokes since Ye has the best solo discog in Hip-Hop history. It's lame when someone relies too heavily on a single artist during these battles like Boi-1da did with Drake though. It'd be interesting, but won't happen.

I think beat selection and order matters a lot in these, would ye even care enough to properly put effort into this?

    SO HELP ME DOG

Yeah definitely feel that as well, most songs on JIK that felt like they'd have punchy lows felt pretty well nerfed for release (Follow God, On God, Closed On Sunday, etc.) and the scrapped tracks were also typically heavier when it came to low ends in the mix/EQ (Up From The Ashes, Glory, Baptized). The leaked version of Closed On Sunday from a September listening party and the October 23rd/LA version of Selah both have a much more spacious and dynamic mix, he definitely made a lot of bizarre choices in that regard to release when it came to the mix

He made the weirdest choices and not only that, but Timberland, of all people, is credited on so much of the album!

I was in with the religion and was hoping for samples and instrumentals similar to TLOP or Yandhi scraps and we just got some really watered down Ye...With that said it is still a 7.5/10 album and that is just the Kanye effect

Even when he loses he can't lose!!
