I've had that start to happen to me too, sort of like years of my memory got wiped or "painted over". Like if I really tried to sit down and try to remember I could/would, but I have to actively retrieve memory with effort now if it's long in the past.

IMO its a combination of 1. experiences being newer and more stimulating on average when you were younger
2. internet messing with peoples working memories, attention spans, etc. which subjectively speeds your days up
