It’s overrated because most of it is s*** ppl had been doing for years and kanye stans think he just came up with this s*** out the blue totally on his own
Lol that’s not the point, it’s about Kanye doing it, at this particular point in his career. A lot of artists have done explored many musical paths, but for a mainstream artist to adopt the sound and make it his is what makes this album groundbreaking. Plus the beats are absolutely fantastic. It doesn’t matter if the sound has been done before.
