he's always been polarizing, and that includes nowadays. still popular as s*** though

he still popular but let’s not kid ourselves a lot of love and admiration comes from his stans or artists who work in close proximity with him no one else really

  • I can see every single artist doing bundles with their albums pre loaded to these players.

    Is that a hot take?
I just feel the possibilities are endless. Especially if he owns the patent to the player. I can see every single artist doing bundles with their albums pre loaded to these players.
It also makes sense as to why repairing his relationship with UMG would be huge for him

nah if this all goes well, I bet you that ye is gonna collab with a bunch of artists and sell these like they are vinyls , each themed with the respective albums

this s*** is gonna be the vinyls of 2022

great sound quality, you can manipulate every song, collectible cases

its dumb as f***. like 4 tracks is enough nothing stopping artists from just putting stems on their website and then letting us do WHATEVER we want with it. No restrictions that way. A good idea raped by commodification

I think both things would become common, the physical player is definitely more of a novelty tho. I’d still prolly get it

a lot of love for kanye nowadays doesn’t come from the public like it used to. the people who praise him either work with him or a stan lol

  • May 20, 2021

Why not on your DAW just silence whatever audio file you want?

  • May 20, 2021

It’s really cool but I doubt it’ll be “bigger” than the empire he’s already built with Yeezy.

  • May 20, 2021

Super excited to see him do something new and unique tho. He’s proving he’s still a visionary

  • master chief

yea i believe the one kanye is working on has a speaker in it, watch this it helps explain it more

It would have to be whatever artist that made it, you need the raw file that only people like mike dean has, that’s why you can isolate things like the vocals or the instrumental so perfectly, so someone like Kanye would ask mike for the raw file and upload it to the machine

Genuinely cannot imagine a world in which this thing exists and makes it so easy to bootleg instrumentals and acapellas. If it doesn't work nearly as well as the promo video makes it look, then fine, I can see that happening.

But if it really works that perfectly, yeah no way do I see it actually releasing lol

    where

A bunch of DJ apps do it. One of the best I’ve seen is the app “Djay 3”. It has a neural mix feature that isolates vocals, drums, instruments, bass, etc
