I still need to watch the final episode maybe later tonight

it's very good IMO and wraps the story up well but you'll see what I mean when you finish it...the 1932 one they're doing next will probably just jump time and be about the next generation of Dutton's...I don't fw Yellowstone so probably didn't pick up on all of the easter eggs in 1883 but there's 1 or 2 significant ones in the finale for sure

Half way through season 3 of Yellowstone and although it’s not a perfect show in terms of writing, it is still a lot of fun and worth the watch.

I'm sure it's fun in a ridiculous/over the top kind of way that Sons of Anarchy and stuff like that is I just couldn't get into it personally...gave up like 3 episodes in once I got to the sister fist fighting the brother in the barn and them killing the morgue worker whose biggest offense was smoking wet and refusing to lie on his report...I get that your main characters don't have to be likeable as long as they're interesting but to me most of the characters fail in both respects which only leaves the setting and occasionally well done action sequences to enjoy

The sister and brother angle works out in the end imo

But yeah, like I said on the other page there’s too much action and killing

yeah...off those first couple episodes the most appealing aspect of the show to me was the action, setting, and I actually liked the Indian mayor's storyline more than the Dutton's (Casey probably the most likeable one out of the bunch based on what I've seen)

    SHOWS CURRENTLY IN DEVELOPMENT

    Land Man:
Set in the proverbial boomtowns of West Texas, Land Man is a modern day tale of fortune seeking in the world of oil rigs. The series is an upstairs/downstairs story of roughnecks and wildcat billionaires fueling a boom so big, it’s reshaping our climate, our economy and our geopolitics. Land Man will be executive produced by Sheridan and produced by David Glasser, Ron Burkle and Bob Yari. The series will also be executive produced by Dan Friedkin and Jason Hoch from Imperative Entertainment and Scott Brown and Megan Creydt from Texas Monthly.

    6666 (Working Title):
Founded when Comanches still ruled West Texas, no ranch in America is more steeped in the history of the West than the 6666. Still operating as it did two centuries before, and encompassing an entire county, the 6666 is where the rule of law and the laws of nature merge in a place where the most dangerous thing one does is the next thing. The 6666 is synonymous with the merciless endeavor to raise the finest horses and livestock in the world, and ultimately where world class cowboys are born and made. The series will be executive produced by Sheridan, John Linson, Art Linson, David Glasser, Ron Burkle and Bob Yari.

    Bass Reeves:
David Oyelowo leads the limited series in the titular role, a legendary lawman who became one of the greatest frontier heroes in America. Bass Reeves, who is believed to be the inspiration for The Lone Ranger, worked in the post-Reconstruction era as a federal peace officer in the Indian Territory. Reeves was the first African-American marshal to police the entire Oklahoma territory.

    Lioness:
Zoe Saldaña plays Joe, strong-willed station chief of the CIA’s Lioness Program tasked with training, managing, and leading female undercover operatives working to assassinate the world’s most dangerous terrorists. “This is an actual program between the CIA and Special Forces,” Sheridan says. “It’s a deep dive into espionage.” Nicole Kidman and Tom Brady are among his co-producer on Lioness, which begins production in summer 2022.

Idk lol, I’m not an action expert like that.

Not that the action is bad in Yellowstone it just didn’t feel natural to the show for some stretches.
