yes lawd got some amazing songs I run back to but Im not throwing that whole album on anymore lol
Yes Lawd easily tf
Paak singing smoothly about the inner struggles of being a pimp vs. Kendrick doing weird alien voices and reading poems about remembering some conflict
”Reading poems about remembering some conflict” floored me
TPAB is one of the most boring slogs I’ve ever listened to. Gave it a couple tries because of the acclaim but sheesh
op setting up paak to fail by comparing a great album to a perfect one
both albums are perfect

Yeah it is easier to feel Yes Lawd! than TPAB, that’s why I prefer it. When it comes to the struggle I listen to .Paak because the nigga was homeless, much easier to draw inspiration from. Other than someone telling stories about it. TPAB is impressive it’s not that great as people make it out to be.
For what TPAB intends to do with highlighting the black struggle/experience I think “We Got It From Here….Thank You For Your Service” and Yes Lawd! does it better
Haven’t played TPAB since it dropped
Yall really think yall doing something when you post things like this, but really you just end up exposing yourselves
Let me ask you a question @op
P3 or B****es Brew?

Exposing myself how exactly?

For having garbage taste. Not listening to an album that's pretty much universally considered a classic and one of the best albums in the genre says more about you than the album

Not 2 albums I'd compare but TPAB, I love Wesley's Theory and These Walls too much.
Yes Lawd by who?
Anderson pakk NXworries to be exact. Gotta check it out.

I have garbage taste because I’m not forcing myself to listen to an album that I have no desire to hear? Just because it’s critically acclaimed?
F*** out my face casual
It’s a fine album, but TPAB is nowhere near the best in the genre unless you started listening to rap in 2010
Not 2 albums I'd compare but TPAB, I love Wesley's Theory and These Walls too much.
I am with this statement.
Idk if that post you made earlier ITT was bait or not, but please post every song on TPAB with an alien voice. Bet there's not even 4 tracks on there that qualify

These Walls is pretty good, favorite song on TPAB along with Complexion.
