Like your 3rd or 4th post in this thread lmao. Most fans do care it's just this site and specifically this sxn is barren and most Ye related discussion has shifted to other platforms.
Listen to the did Biggie get a big house line around the 29 sec mark in the Sky City upload in the op. It was the original release, they covered it up with mixing later on but it was super blatant on the initial release. Specially the way House was pronounced which became a joke in Ye communities.
Post beat switch on the new 530 is like almost all AI and the entire thing is pretty robotic.
jfc i dont even want to listen to the updated V2 anymore

Wasn't this line different than CyHi's? Could've swore it was something something at Ye and Kim's house"
So the fact it's a different punch in also made it sound worse lol
I just said a lobotomy could change your mind I’m not doing ai a***ysis with you when I have already typed out my personal beliefs on every single situation ai could be used and how I would feel about it
Yall discussion is simply is there any binary used” yes or no “ because like a basic ai program run by 0101 that’s as far as yall can think I broke down how I would feel if ai was used on voice , production , writing and more
You guys aren’t adults so your thought pattern is only two options I’m non binary I don’t entertain any binary and it’s all you think in
Ai or not
Good or evil
Good or bad
Man or woman
The list goes on and on it’s why yall always compare everything and it’s why I surmise yall are miserable but it’s not my place to speak on
If yall feel vehemently about ai this a free society you gave freedom to not listen but that doesn’t serve your “ I told you so “ grift cause someone in your life never believed you
I’m asking you to believe you enough to not seek to recruit others or use those recruitment skill to recruit them to something useful like empathy
But it’s your power you can convince people of anything and this is what you CHOOSE to use your energy on
So you’ve already made up your mind without any knowledge or intelligence on the matter.
Again I would love to DISCUSS
without being insulated, as somebody who has studied AI and used it for work and school, but I can see why you’re not capable of that
I really want to say something rude back but I won’t. I’m just gonna block. Good luck on the home search

you dont discuss you just talk whether its ai or not. I discuss every given outcome
"I studied ai in school "
As an audio engineer and AI enthusiast, you can hear almost right away the character of Ye’s RVC voice model. Not even getting into the artifacts talk, it’s just obvious when it’s being used and when it’s not if you ever actually worked with the RVC model before, and you have the ear for that.
With that being said, Beauty and the Beast is not AI

This life long debate of "is it really him singing or a voice filter" will occur for many artist then it becomes at the root do you like the song or art at all whether its genuine or not do they like the sounds of the music and I genuinely have no f***ing idea because they dont talk about the music or lyrics just whether its ai or not
As I have said I have an issue if ai is used to just press a button or give a prompt and create a song but a voice filter especially as artist do d****, grow old or possibly one day entirely lose their voice
I do not care. It only matters for live performances. I dont think this is AI but my more pressing issues is I wish it was longer , beat change or the progression went some where. It feels like an intro to a great album
see how I am album to not center my entire idea of the song on possibility of AI then go on a long tangent of "lazy fat nazi he used to care about music"

Whats there to discuss if it's AI. If I press play on a Ye album I'm expecting to hear Ye performing the song not some random weedcarrier with a dumb voice filter.
How am I supposed to care about the writing when the verse just straight up sounds ass due to the uncanny weird voice rapping it.
Sure the beat may be good but it's not the only part of the song that matters.
I've considered Ye a rapper/singer as much as a producer. If he's not gonna do the former and have some computer software do it then my interest in the song tanks.
Labels probably super happy him and others are embracing AI.
They'll just cut the artists out of the equation when the AI is indistinguishable from real voice.
They already own the masters and pubs of so many artists, they'll own their voices soon enough too.
When your fav artist falls off so hard that hes putting an ai filter of his own voice over other peoples raps its probably time to call it quits lol
I don't care if the raps are AI tbh
The singing should be him tho
Not even mad at it at the slightest lol
Even when sky city dropped

Thank you, i’m gonna look at it with a sherlock lens
So did gambino get an official Kanye Ai verse or an unofficial one lol
Likely fake.
Gambino has been working on AI stuff for a year so he had access to better models and his one sounded better than the models Ye uses.
Plus the writing of the verse was off.
And that whole radio show was littered with fake AI monologues and stuff

Sad that gambino had a better model than Kanye himself lol

I think there's a lot to discuss, starting with intention. And nobody is discussing why he's doing this beyond accusations of laziness.
Has he done anything interesting with it yet? Not particularly, though I do think Vultures 2 is meant as a rebuttal to the era of fan entitlement, evidenced in the instances of AI and the appearance of a song like 5:30.
But I'm downright shocked that all discussion is reductively limited to whether it is or isn't AI and how if it's AI it's automatically bad, when Ye has the reputation of a groundbreaking artist. I'm more interesting in why he is doing it and how it might tie into the concept of the album he is working on. It seems like a lot of people will automatically dismiss it without a second thought.

I believe that adding AI to grails as a f*** you theory is major cope theory considering he's used it on his recent music too, not just old unfinished songs. Ruining your own songs as a f*** you to fans is outright dumb and shows how little you care about your music.
There is nothing creative about his usage of it, it's being used as a replacement of him rather than an actual tool like autotune which enhances ones vocals. We legit know that writers' reference vocals are being ran through a filter to mimic Ye. What possibly could be the reason to do this apart from laziness. What am I getting out of it as someone who enjoys listening to Ye rapping. Its not his writing, neither his performance, both things I highly value. The former had been steadily decreasing across projects throughout the years but if I can't even listen to the latter then what's even the point of listening to this music. I'd rather he'd just listen to his OG haters from TCD days at this point and stick to beats then.
His reputation doesn't excuse him of criticism. The Vultures 2 songs are out, there's really no concept to the AI usage. Thinking it's just due to laziness is the obvious conclusion. We'll see what happens for Bully, I'm cautiously optimistic for it. If he has something actually creative with regards to AI then I'll keep my ears open but if it's just used like it was for Vultures 2 then I have little interest in that.
And obviously, the AI is just not good enough at all. It exists in a weird uncanny valley where it's obviously supposed to be like Ye but at the same time isn't (and at sometimes it's nowhere close). As someone who listens to Ye a lot I can tell when it sounds like a soulless computer algorithm producing these sounds and I just don't feel anything on listening that.

I'm not coping at all. There's a philosophical angle to it and that's what I'm interested in. Vultures 2 and other songs he's applied AI to may be practice for something later or may mean something to him about the state of art today. I understand your frustration but as of now, I'm in exploration mode.

I’ve tried to discuss with you. I’ve discussed philosophical angles for the use of Ai. AI’s history in music, artists and composers in the 18th century who’ve literally been working towards this. I have 0 idea what you are trying to discuss with anyone anymore other than if it’s being used or not and if it’s good or bad.
