It’s so annoying because you stupid Ai tuthers are impossible to talk to and every conversation is lose lose because you truly believe you’re right in every single way and everyone is wrong. The discourse is awful because if someone disagrees or poses alternative explanations you folks immediately turn it down. You are doing more damage to the art than you are adding anything meaningful to it.

  • Condom eyes was calling anyone willing to state the obvious about the ai vocals f***ing brain dead idiots

This gonna push him to create a new account

You know when I first saw comments here about certain songs being AI, I was like "Damn people are really reaching for something to complain about. There's no way he would do that, it doesn't even make sense."

This wraps up Ye for me. Everything after Pablo was a disaster save a few singles. MBDTF still one of the best of all time so gotta appreciate what we have.

Adin doesn't get these from Ye

He buys them from leakers. That's how we got Can U Be essentially cause he bought it from a leaker and previewed it, which generated hype for it then people realized it's in circulation and then it was bought from someone else.

The AI is awful cause he uses an old cheap free model available on the internet.

Everyone saying I'm taking an L but I’m so confused because no one here has gave a thought provoking argument against ai. I stand by all that I have said.

I am an artist / designer and if you don't think we’re all using it to some extent you'd be sorely mistaken. There are clearly boundaries that need to be set regarding rightful use of particular ML data sets but if you like and listen to ANY electronic music and are against ai than I really don't know where you stand.

  • What you need to be worried about is this new class of plutocrats that won’t reinvest in the common good. Ai can stand at the frontier for the local business owner to have even a shot at any opportunity. I live in a small town where I’ve chatted with recently turned US citizens who have opened up their own businesses because of the Ai tools they use. The same goes for artists man. Liberation for up and coming artists will require the ability to use these tools IN TANDEM to their craft. Not replace it. But in tandem.

Its really not deeper than the fact that its just not him

The redeeming part of his music declining in quality was that at least it was kanye, and thats not even the case anymore

Im actually on board with using AI in music in some instances but using it for vocals is just straight up lazy. One of the best parts of kanyes music throughout the years is his vocal presence, energy, and delivery. None of that matters when we know its not even him rapping

  • i support kanye west using AI

ironically it does make sense for Ye to be the main innovator to push AI in music but hes just not that same artist back in 2008 to me man

You are probably gonna ignore this but here are my problems with this:

    1. It just doesn't sound good. AI vocals are just not there yet, autotune was more than good enough in 2008 hence 808s sounded great while all the AI vocals he's released and previewed sound awful or lack his touch.

    2. He is using it as a replacement rather than an enhancement or a tool:
He is running AI over reference tracks by writers, thus ending the need of him having to record finished verses ever again.
As a Ye fan, his performance is one of the most important aspects of his music while AI just removes that aspect.
I don't wanna listen to Cyhi, Quentin Miller, or Yung Moose's impression of what Ye should sound like (which doesn't match up to the real performance anyways), I just want the real Ye raps, my favorite artist of all time and even currently.

    3. It's redundant at the moment: The AI is just trying to mimick Ye, it's not adding any new element to his music. He's not using it to hit some crazy unimaginable note or something, or fix some error. It's just being used to reduce his involvement in the music making process.
808s wouldn't have sounded half as good without the autotune, while even as an AI supporter you'll have to admit that all the previewed and released AI music would sound way better if Ye actually recorded it (unless you hate Ye).

I have no problem with AI in music when it's used as a helping hand rather than replacement.
Like using it for stem separation.

If he uses it in a creative way and enhances his performance on the album, I'll be welcoming it most likely.

And the only future I see is big labels licensing AI models of current musicians and f***ing over newer artists. Him promoting it is probably something the labels are loving.
So I don't even get the public v/s corporation thing.

  • OwO

They bout to loose their f***ing mind when BULLY drops

Entire album is going to be AI vocals on a kanye production

    Wow

Ye officially admitted to AI usage in new Laboy interview

    Compares it to autotune

Will post the clip when I'm free and it's available

Starts talking about it at 9:15 mark

Knows fans hate it and have a more 'visceral reaction'
    Compares it to Autotune

At 12:26 demonstrates AI vocals by 'turn his voice to my voice' to a Lil RT song and putting the vocals on a soul beat

Calls it the new sampling and compares it to 'ass-shots (?)' which people hated and then became the standard.
